Accommodation in Cottages

There are 13 individual guest cottages set on either side of the main lodge building; most cottages have a spectacular view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tawi can accommodate up to 30 guests. All ensuite, each has a large lockable wooden chest for safekeeping of valuables, spacious hanging cupboards and a fire place. Cottage 7 is suitable for wheelchair access.

Dining

All meals are served at the main lodge dining room or in the garden. At sunrise, trays of hot tea and coffee are brought to your cottages, a perfect wake-up call before your game drive! Enjoy the wilderness with a picnic breakfast or lunch which are also available, with prior notice. Our creative chef can cater for special dietary requirements, with advance notice.

Safari Activities at Tawi Lodge:

Spend your evenings at Tawi Lodge at the bar and dining area. From here, guests can view the Wetlands where hoardes of Elephants come to drink and play in the mud.
Relax at our bush bar or campfire as you absorb the sounds of the night while you enjoy your drink. Spend your days enjoying Game drives and Birdwatching. Enjoy the pool and massage area and for a special treat, indulge in a hot bath at sunset right across the Waterhole.
For those wanting to add to this adventure, you also have the opportunity to book a 6 day Mt. Kilimanjaro hike as well as a Helicopter ride at an extra cost.
